I've been tattooing for 20 years — which means I've spent more of my life as a tattoo artist than I haven't. At this point, it's not just what I do. It's who I am.
I started my career in the Coachella Valley — yeah, home of that music festival — and moved to Texas in 2008 to be closer to family. These days I'm based out of Kyle, just south of Austin, and I make regular trips to Dallas where I built my clientele over eight years. Both cities feel like home, honestly. Kind of like San Diego and Texas always have — I'm a military brat, Navy family, spent my whole life moving between the two coasts. Maybe that's why I'm comfortable going big.
Speaking of going big — that's my thing. Sleeves, back pieces, large-scale projects. I want to take up as much real estate on your body as you'll let me. My philosophy? When in doubt, blow it up 50%. The impact is just better. Period.
I work in every style — color, black and gray, realism, illustrative, new school, neo-traditional — whatever the project calls for. But if you want to know where my heart really is, it's in Japanese neo-traditional imagery. I offer special pricing for those pieces because I just love doing them.
All of my work is custom. I won't take on a project I'm not confident will turn out great — that's a promise to both of us.
One more thing I want you to know: I actually enjoy cover-ups and reworks. A lot of artists avoid them. I lean in. They force me to think outside the box, and you shouldn't have to live with your mistakes forever. Bring me the tattoo you're embarrassed about. Let's fix it.
Beyond skin, I also work in wood carving, sculpture, and murals, and I take commissions in those mediums as well.
On a personal note — I've got four dogs, I'm an avid gamer, and I love doing video game-themed tattoos. If you've got a concept that lives at the intersection of gaming and a tattoo, I'm already interested.
Let's build something worth keeping forever.
